I hope you enjoy the Super Songs of the 70’s Weekends as much as I do. The songs bring back so many memories, and I bought the records of many of them.

One such song hit #1 this week in 1974. “Rock Me Gently” was Andy Kim’s only hit to reach the top of the singles chart.

Andy was born in Montreal, Quebeck, Canada, on Dec. 5, 1952. His real name is Andrew Joachim (hence, the variation of his last name). He quit school and moved to New York at age 16, and had several hits in the late 60’s, including the platinum single “Baby I Love You” and “How’d We Ever Feel This Way”.
