Goodbye Kim!
Posted in: Uncategorized
Kim told us it was time, she really had to go.

She wants to go home to Dallas, to be with her mom and dad.
Just in case you’re wondering, we told her Dallas was BAD.
Even Alex says he’ll miss her, they’ve become quite a team.
He’s hoping soon he’ll wake up and her news was a bad dream.
But alas…yes, she’s leaving, so here’s some pics to reminisce.
We love ya Kim…best of luck—& from your family at Majic—a big kiss.

THINGS YOU’LL NEVER HEAR A DAD SAY
Here are the top things you’ll never hear a dad say:
10. “Well, how ’bout that? I’m lost! Looks like we’ll have to stop and ask for directions.”
9. “You know Pumpkin, now that you’re 13, you’ll be ready to start dating boys who drive. Won’t that be fun?”
8. “I noticed that all your friends have a certain hostile attitude. I like that.”
7. “Here’s a credit card and the keys to my new car. GO CRAZY!!”
5. “Your Mother and I are going away for the weekend. You might want to consider throwing a party.”
4. “Well, I don’t know what’s wrong with your car. Probably one of those doo-hickey thingies — ya know — that makes it run or something. Just have it towed to a mechanic and pay whatever he asks.”
2.”What do you wanna go and get a job for? I make plenty of money for you to spend.”
1. “What do I want for Father’s Day? Aahh — don’t worry about that. It’s no big deal.” (OK, they might say it. But they don’t mean it.)

FATHER’S DAY: Have A BBQ For Dad
According to HitchedMag.com, here are some ways to make this Father’s Day barbecue a celebration for Dad that he will never forget:
Take control of the grill, but ask Dad’s input — Your kids can research easy recipes and contribute to the barbecue by making Dad’s favorite foods, with your supervision.
Prepare a speech — If you want to do something extra special for Dad this year, prepare a toast for the occasion. Allow the kids to make their own toast, mentioning a special experience or memory.
Drinks on the house — Offer plenty of cold beverages, but don’t feel pressured to set up an entire bar. Serve your husband’s favorite beer and a few other offerings such as soda or lemonade. Let guests know they can help themselves.
Buy Dad the perfect gift — Staying with the barbecue theme, find an inexpensive apron that the kids can decorate themselves. The gift doesn’t have to be expensive, just thoughtful.
Add a little spice to the day — Have friends and family bring their own bottle of homemade barbecue sauce for everyone to sample and let Dad be the official judge.
FATHER’S DAY: Do’s & Don’ts of Father’s Day Gifts
Father’s Day is this Sunday. Time to show dad the love. Time to reward dad for all the hard work he’s put in, day after day, year after year, without one shred of complaint. Here are tips for Father’s Day shopping this year…
Don’t Give:
A Necktie — Stay away from clothing gifts that can be worn to work or even during the week.
An indoor grill — Dad likes fat and dad doesn’t like cooking his meat indoors. This might very well be the worst gift you could give a man.
Flowers — If you can’t store it in a box, dad won’t know what to do with it.
Jewelry — Giving your dad a pinky ring will make him think he totally screwed up raising you.
Do Give:
A Hawaiian Shirt — Shirts that you don’t have to tuck in make dad happy.
An Outdoor Grill — Dad will love you forever.
A Swiss Army Knife — If he’s not doing this already, dad will eventually be picking at his cuticles for entertainment. He’s going to need a quality tool for this purpose.
A Box of Omaha Steaks — Mmmmmmmmm. Meat.

Googler catching some rest. When Richard walked past the pod later, he said a pair of female legs were sticking out from the pod.
This contraption is a MetroNap EnergyPod. Metronap says it “harnesses science and NASA technology” to deliver a refreshing nap for users.

On its site, Metronap says, “Occupants are reclined into the optimal napping position to promote blood circulation and reduce pressure on the lower back and ambient sounds help nappers drift into light sleep.”
